TRADE STAND INFORMATION 2017

Trade Stand Coordinator: Chris Bexon - 59 Derby Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, NG17 9DH - Tel 01623 722037 email chris.bexon@gmail.com

We would like to welcome you and your business to the 42nd Driffield Agricultural Society Championship Dog show, to be held from Thursday  28th September – Sunday 1st October 2017 inclusive, at the Wetherby Race Course, Wetherby, Yorkshire.

The show is one of the Kennel Club licensed General Championship shows and attracts around 6,500 dogs over a four day period with some 8,000 to 10,000 exhibitors and members of the public in attendance over the four days.

The venue is clean, flat and spacious with good drainage and is handy for all major roads and motorways and we annually attract over thirty trade stands to service our clientele each year. Our trade stand base is not exclusively connected to dogs and dog showing products, but repeat custom confirms that there is an opportunity to make business.

This show is a purely outdoor show, held in early October and as such all trade stands have to be  substantial, ordinary gazebos would just not stand up to the sometimes inclement weather, particularly strong winds.

The cost of trade stands is dependent on the size of your unit and new for 2016, we have introduced a ‘start up’ rate of £100, plus vat for an area 6ft by 6ft in a designated area for the duration of the show, in an effort to accommodate the smaller units which we have to disappoint each year.

If you wish to attend the 2016 show, please do not hesitate to contact me for a competitive quotation.

What happens next?

Upon agreement we will raise an invoice which must be submitted with the payment by the due date.

Show information and passes will be forwarded to you nearer the date of the show.

However, we would expect trade stand holders to be in possession of third party liability insurance which must be produced.

If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards

Chris Bexon
